This Month's Card Swap

July's Card Swap at the Beehive was amazing! 17 cards.  Have you ever been part of a card swap? They are so much fun.  Depending on how many crafters are involved determines how many cards you make.  So, this month there were 17 crafters.  So, I made 17 of the same card and sent them off to the swap host.  Once the host received all participants cards, she will divvy them up, send them back and I get 17 different unique cards that I can use to send to friends and family or, use them for inspiration. Want to get in on the fun & enjoy the best deal in the catalog? Sign up for the starter kit and pick out $125 worth of product (of your choosing), a free paper pumpkin kit, and 20% future purchases for $99.   Below are the cards I received and what products were used.  Click on the product to see it at my shop. One Sheet Wonder Fun

Using a template I found provided by Teacher's Pet   I created some cards using retired paper.  This is more of my #loveitchop it session.  I recently created a video tutorial on a gift bag that I make using 2 sheets of 12x12 DSP.  Unfortunately, my computer ate it along with several other projects I've been working on. So, here you are.  A list of the tools and supplies I used will be below.  I have labeled my pictures according to the pieces I used on the template. Don't worry, I'll still work on a new video for the gift bag! Do you like my cards but not like to craft? Don't worry! I've got a card club each month.  $15 (Including Shipping) and I send you 5 custom designed cards.  Follow me on facebook and under my events you can find it.  Or, send me a message or comment below and I can get you set up! From the template, using pieces: Cards 1A & 2A: Cards 2A & 2B: Cards 3A & 3B: Cards 4A &

Beginner Brochure

Have you seen the new Netflix movie "Self Made"? Sarah Walker known as Madam CJ Walker, was a self made woman a daughter of former slaves.  She built an empire helping Black American women take care of their hair. She sold shampoos and pomades and she did it using an army of direct sales women. She ended up choosing to stay with her sales ladies so that they could empower themselves and help others through what they love!  This is why I love a good direct sales company.  This is why I love Stampin' Up! Their paper and inkpads are still manufactured in the USA and have been since the beginning.  Supporting local business right here at home and empowering their sales associates to help others with what they love to do!  Representing this company makes me proud.  Beginning with crafting can feel like an overwhelming and expensive investment! Enter the Beginner Brochure.  The name of the game with Stampin' Up is simplicity! Everything in their catalog coordinates s
